Garnet Hill Lodge & Siamese Pond Wilderness

Confirmed Day March 26th Garnet

Fellas,

So we are confirmed for a great day at Garnet Hill Lodge and Siamese Pond Wilderness Area.

We will meet up at the Garnet Hill Outdoor Center 9:30 on Sunday March 26, 2023. We will dial in gear and groups and depart for hike/snowshoe.

Group 1 will head to Peaked Mountain for a bit of a longer hike.

Group 2 will hike/snowshoe for a bit of a shorter hike to Hooper Mine, William Blake Pond, Balm of Gilead peak.

We will then return and meet at the historic Garnet Hill Lodge at 3 pm for the tasting of a mixed combination of food, including but not limited to Smoked Duck, Bison Sliders, Cheese Platter and a Charcuterie Board and 3 whiskeys. Bill McKibben a local writer will provide a chat on the Adirondack Park and Siamese Pond Wilderness Area.

We need confirmation of numbers for food and whiskey, so please respond to the Evite ASAP.

We expect costs for the food and whiskey to come in around $100 +/-.

Recommended gear lists will be sent out once we have confirmed numbers.
